I don't see any problem with the original, although it is a bit convoluted.

agree Andy Watkinson : Sounds exactly like a case I translated the other day re: a TV spot in which two different product characteristics were compared. The plaintiff (a major Spanish utility gas company) lost. "Knocking copy" as it's known in the business, is prone to this.
