Report from  Karoly Lazar
Gods sent perfect late-spring weather to Nyrliget, that fabulous place in the western edge of Hungary, which is an island of peace in the Carpathian Basin. We enjoyed the company of Pablo's three translator/interpreter family members + his wonderful mother (not to forget their super intelligent dog, Buda, who understands Spanish and Hungarian--he does not need an interpreter ;)) ).
Food and drinks were magnificient: Pablo cooked prklt (similar to gulash), Cristina made a wonderful mousse chocolat, and we all picked some nice Belgian cheese and red wine from Valencia.
Oh, yes, and we talked about our bread and butter (translation), too... :-)))
Next time it would be nice to see some fellas from Austria and Slovakia (both of them are visible from the roof top of Pablo's house...)

Report from  Pablo Grosschmid
We had a very nice time, got to know each other, and discussed many matters affecting freelance translators, especially those working in small countries, and with less-widely used languages.

It was generally felt that ProZ is a wonderful Workplace, and that it should now be developed to become also THE world translation maketplace, with a better positioning in search engines and more links in related places, and a well-designed multilingual Welcome Area for first-time visitors who are looking for an agency, team or freelance translator.

It was a positive experience for all of us, and I am sure that it will lead to new close personal and professional friendships.
