: Kouji-En states 手描き is a technique that does not require pattern or else, and use freehand drawing. So this answer is more specific. Common spelling is "dying", however.

Discussion
answers posted (as I write this). But I also think
your "hand-dyed cloth" would work just fine. Doesn't
appear that there's a more specialized, artsy-fartsy term
in English for this.
