I agree with you that \"beseech\" is a highly formal way of asking help; it is used when the addressor is inferior to the addressee in terms of social class or when the person is helpless to do a given task. Translation as you already know is context based, thus if the context proved to be less formal and the addressee has casual relationship with the addressor I would prefer to use a cliche like\" I appreciate your help\", or \"I\'m counting on your assistance\".

neutral  Nesrin: Of course we don't have enough context, but I think the word "beseech" is a bit too archaic (see Quran translations eg) or, when used, then often in the context of royalties, "I beseech your Majesty" eg. Perhaps: "I appreciate your graciousness"?
