Peça de mastectomia simples esquerda com 480 g e 12,5 x 15 x 4,5 cm, englobando retalho cutâneo com 7,5 x 3,5 cm, com mamilo paracentral, identificando-se aparente cicatriz na orla da aréola, estendendo-se pela união dos quadrantes internos, numa extensão de 4 cm, no sentido longitudinal. A peça encontrava-se referenciada no bordo supra-areolar com uma seda e no bordo externo com duas sedas. Secções seriadas mostraram, na união dos quadrantes externos / quadrante superior esquerdo, formação tumoral com 1,3 x 0,8 x 0,7 cm, constituída por um tecido branco, de limites espiculados e mal definidos.
