Jeśli przyjąć, że np. Warszawa, Włoszczowa i Zielona Góra to kobiety...
Andrzej Mierzejewski Jan 17, 2023:
"Przywileje osadnicze nadał jej..." - znaczy kobiecie, nie miastu?

(grant) a town charter

In 1427, Prince Bolko IV’s brother, Bernard, permitted a Jew, Abraham from Ziębice, his family and all the people he employed, to settle in Opole for ten years. This settlement privilege allowed for Jews to settle, once again, in Opole. It also allowed for a Jewish school to be opened in a private home - https://sztetl.org.pl/en/towns/o/66-opole/99-history/137794-...

The legal foundation and mark of the beginning of settlement was the settlement "privilege" (also called the "contract" (kontract) or "law" (prawo), which was rendered in Latin as the privilegium or ius, and in German as the Gerichtigkeit), which was issued in the case of a significant majority of settlements - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olęders

The legal foundation of Dutch law settlement was based on the settlement ‘privilege’. The con-tract precisely regulated relations of the commu-nity of new settlers with the land owners and other persons and institutions (Ciesielska 1958). - https://www.researchgate.net/publication/332134464_Sentiment... - page 58

Such settlement privileges in Poland hearkened back to the mid-fifteenth century, when King Casimir opened the doors to expanded Jewish settlement in 1453 - www.t.ly/oRZc

Early history of Mszana Dolna
The first records mentioning the town come from the 13th century. The earliest record from 10 May 1254 mentions a number of villages, including ones on the banks of river “Mschena,” which probably lent its name to the town of Mschena. It is said to have been founded by the Cistercians Catholic religious order on the basis of a settlement privilege issued by Władysław I Łokietek, king of Poland. 1345 saw the formal location of the town under the so-called German (Magdeburg) laws by another Polish king, Casimir III the Great - https://www.sztetlmszanadolna.com/en/mszana-dolna-ii.html
