El texto trata sobre actividades de turismo ecológico en un área llena de cascadas. Varias veces se repite un texto como el siguiente:

La cascada salva un desnivel de aproximadamente 8 m de altura.

El texto es original de España, y este término no me resulta familiar, sin embargo entiendo que se refiere a que las aguas del río caen a través de un salto o pendiente empinada y caen formando una o varias cascadas.
