Buenos días:

Estoy traduciendo una sentencia de un tribunal de Trinidad y Tobago relativa a la custodia de un menor.
En ella aparecen diferentes puntos correspondientes al fallo emitido por el juez, y uno de ellos dice:

"That leave be granted to dispense with service of the Summons and with the consent of the Defendant".

No estoy segura del significado de la expresión "that leave be granted". Pienso que podría ser algo así como
"Que se otorgue el permiso para renunciar a la ¿notificación de la citación? y con el consentimiento del demandado..."

Necesitaría un poco de ayuda para poder tenerlo claro.
