a tak z ciekawości co ten VIN podał? jaki to pojazd? co to "DGE" oznacza?
geopiet Mar 29, 2022:
czyli może być pojazdem oryginalnym, bez historii „wypadkowej” ... :)
geopiet Mar 29, 2022:
None A vehicle branded as “None”:

is a default brand applied to all new vehicles

may have been damaged or rebuilt before March 31, 2003

may have been damaged, but not to a degree that meets our branding criteria (for example, deemed a total loss)

may never have been in a collision

geopiet Mar 29, 2022:
@ Monisia ponawiam sugestię z numerem VIN, po wpisaniu otrzymasz dane pojazdu

In North America, the vast majority of vehicle titles are issued by individual provinces/states and territories. Most have implemented some branding scheme to warn subsequent owners of a vehicle of severe damage to a vehicle due to collision, theft or disaster. The brands and the criteria used to assign them vary widely from one jurisdiction to another.

Typical branding designations
Brand: None, synonym: (clear), Normal
...
Has not been branded in this jurisdiction. May be a vehicle which has not been in an accident or has been in an accident minor enough that the cost of repair was less than the cost to write off the vehicle. May also be a vehicle which sustained severe damage in some other jurisdiction (if laws between the two differ significantly) or which was damaged and repaired before the introduction of vehicle branding or was damaged or repaired without notification to an insurance company.

propozycja, bo przecież jakoś to trzeba wpisać, najlepiej bez długich wyjaśnień. Ewentualnie wyjaśnienia dać jako odnośnik?

Ontario’s Branding Program

Ontario has had a mandatory vehicle branding program since March 31, 2003. According to the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) insurance companies, auto recyclers, salvagers, auctioneers, dealers and individual vehicle owners must assign a brand type to vehicles that have been damaged to the point of total loss. These vehicles must be reported to the MTO and the brand is then recorded in the Ministry of Transportation's Vehicle Registration System.

The four types of brand are:

"Irreparable" - written off as a total loss; can never be driven on the road again

"Salvage" - written off as a total loss; can be repaired or used for parts; cannot be licensed until repairs are inspected and brand is changed

“Rebuilt" - previous “Salvage” vehicle - has been repaired and undergone two inspections; can now be licensed and driven

"None" – has not been given one of the other three brands;
may have been branded outside Ontario but MTO is not aware; may have been damaged/rebuilt prior to March 31, 2003; may have been damaged but was not written-off; may never have been involved in a collision

London, Ontario — September 11, 2017 —

Vehicles in Ontario that have been significantly damaged must be reviewed for purposes of assigning a registration “brand.” This includes vehicles damaged in accidents or through fire, theft, flood and vandalism.

These “brands” can be assigned by responsible parties and act as a registration notice that advises future purchasers that these vehicles may have sustained significant prior damage.
