SPRAYER: Inverted GM (French type)
The Hamon down-spray sprayer « Inverted GM » has a double splash plate design giving a solid cone water distribution pattern. Teethes on both splash plates brake the water film flow in small droplets producing a high rain zone thermal efficiency and allowing an excellent overlapping of water distribution pattern from adjacent sprayers. The water sprays almost horizontally from the sprayer. The internal design presents no obstruction that might stop flowing debris inside the sprayer.
The sprayer is equipped with a nozzle existing in a wide diameter range. It offers a flexible and wide range design regarding rain density. The nozzle and the water jet quality can be inspected through a window located on the sprayer body.
It is a low pressure sprayer which accepts a wide pressure range on nozzle head. (Minimum 0.5 m to more than 3.0 m)

имхо, inverted означает, что распыляемая струя ударяется в отражатель (дефлектор) и он выполняет распыление. У нас такие форсунки называются ударными, см. https://acs-nnov.ru/forsunki-i-sopla-gradirni.html
