More context please. All these answers are possible except for 6.5 billion which is more than the whole population of India. If you could inform two sentences on each side that would help.
This must have been incorrectly transcribed. Or there it likely something after "religious" to complete the phrase, like "religious persons in each group of 7 people (or 10 people, but in India, it would be 7, guess). 6.5 million would be ridiculous, and 6.5 billion is five times their population. 6.5 religions also doesn't make sense, as the guy wouldn't state in a speech that there is something like a half religion. So I"d ask you to please add the neext two lines of the text here.
Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, and Buddhism are always included in the list, being known as the "Big Five". Some scholars also include other religions, such as Sikhism, Zoroastrianism, or the Baháʼí Faith, in the category.
On January 20, the government of India met a long-standing demand of the Jain community and officially declared them as India’s sixth religious minority community after Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Zoroastrians.
declared the sixth, making total of seven, Hindu plus the recognised minorities, was Jainism in the middle of being officially declared the seventh religion??? What year, Jan 20??
it lists the six religions, but why the half??? listed the eight religions.
The Republic of India recognizes the personal laws of ***five communities: Hindus (including Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists), Muslims, Christians, Jews and Zoroastrians. ... For the moment, only Sikhs have a separate marriage act of their own.
