Marketing - Business/Commerce (general) / Trade fair catalogue
French term or phrase: double sens de lecture
This is a trade fair catalogue. In previous years, it's been split into two sections as the fair covers several related sectors that can be split into two more-or-less distinct sections.
So, for one section of the fair, you used to read the catalogue in the normal way, from front to back. Then you flipped the catalogue over and the last page became a first page and you started reading about the other section of the fair.
I hope that's clear. How would we express it in English rather more succinctly?

Here's the sentence:
En 2020, le catalogue franchira un palier important en abandonnant son double sens de lecture pour rassembler tous les exposants d’un seul et même côté.

Explanation:
Just a thought — seems to succinctly sum up the idea, which after all isn't terribly important, as it's something they're now not doing!

disagree  Tony M: That just sound like 'backwards' reading; it misses out the double aspect.

-> The word "section" implies that there is another section... in my very humble opinion.

disagree  B D Finch: Something back-to-front is wrong; this isn't.

disagree  AllegroTrans: Whichever of the two parts of the book you read, it proceeds from front to back (or effectively middle somewhere), so this is wrong

Notes to answerer
Asker: It really needn't have been mentioned, but it has been, so it's important to me that I translate it well, that's all :) .

Flip-over catalog

Explanation:
I think this description - which you are giving yourself by the way ! -
is rather self-explanatory.
So I would go for 'flip-over' catalog.
