"To do that, insights about the customer journey are essential. Because what, when and where are they looking for?"
Sounds more like a thorough/methodical approach than "just do it the easy way"...
You could say that avoiding the trap of the apparently obvious meaning of "easy does it" is a case of / a proof of "Easy does it"!
