Although it seems that "jurisdiction" is used mostly in the context of law and courts, I've found numerous examples of this expression used in other contexts (on British websites). Moreover, I came across the expression "under the juristiction of the Tax Office" on the webiste of the Tax Chamber in Warsaw [entities (taxpayers) who have their place of residence in Poland and who have previously been under the jurisdiction of The Second Tax Office Warszawa - Śródmieście....]- that's why I thought it would be OK.

Btw. couldn't it be "registered at the Tax Office in..."?

In English, it doesn't need to be judicial to have a jurisdiction.
