viewer (of art)

Inna propozycja.

"As a viewer of art I want to be visually engaged. I want to enter the piece and I want to be changed for the better. I want to keep looking. That is what I strive to provide for the viewers of my pieces."

“Art requires contemplation that focuses attention on the viewer developing a relationship with the work of art, not merely passively receiving a message.”

"The viewer of art, from the detached position of the technical media itself, becomes a disinterested critic, evaluating the reproduced object merely in terms of its presentability; that it takes place."

Example sentence:

The challenge facing a viewer of art is how to decipher an image’s content and extract its meaning. This holds true for a viewer of visualizations as well.

You are no longer the viewer of art at this exhibition -- the art is looking right back at you.
