Turbine start-up is performed using an AC electric motor driven auxiliary pumps (2x100%). The auxiliary pump fills the suction and discharge lines of the main oil pump with oil and prepare the main oil pump for normal operation of delivering oil into the system. The main oil pump takes over at a speed slightly below rated speed. The auxiliary oil pump is switched off when the unit reaches rated speed. The auxiliary pump delivers oil during start-up or shut down conditions. It also operates during _barring_ of the turbine rotors or during the run-down of the turbine rotors following a turbine trip. Under these conditions the auxiliary pump is automatically started.
The run-up of the turbo-generator rotors to the _barring speed (approximately 60 rpm)_ is only possible after delivery of the high pressure jacking oil to the journal bearings.

Судя по скорости в 60rpm это то же, что и т.н. "turning" и "turning gear". +не нужно масло под высоким давлением при запирании, да и "run-up to ... speed" говорит сам за себя.
