Bus/Financial - Law: Contract(s)
French term or phrase: Promoteur Bénéficiaire
This term is used to refer to one of the parties in a contract relating to the carrying out of a medical research study, the other party being the 'PRESTATAIRE'.
I believe there is a special meaning of the term 'promoteur' in a medical field, but I can't decide whether this is the case here, or whether it should be 'promoter', 'developer' or something else, and how is this company more 'bénéficiare' than the other one, the service provider?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

TIA,

Vicky
