Culturally offensive Feb 3

From Merriam-Webster:

I believe that Proz should retire its use of this term. After all, this is a site for language professionals, and we should be even more attuned to these nuances than those outside of our sphere.

On-topic Feb 3

With all the previous posts being largely off-topic, I'll take a chance of being on-topic, for a change.

I'd prefer an in-person meeting.

Proz still uses the derogatory term “Nigerian Scammer” when even the World Bank and IMF glossaries have changed it.
It seems changes here take time—a long, long time; just look at the development of the new site. So, changing an offensive term from their site will take ages, IMHO.
