On the ProZ.com web page, the 20 most recent forum topics are listed by default. About an hour ago, a new topic appeared under "ProZ.com:Translator Coop", and it duly showed up on the home page.

Right now it is no longer there. The thread has not been removed (only the title of the initial post has been changed). It has already received some replies.

As some of the most actively discussed topics appeared precisely under "ProZ.com:Translator Coop" recently, this bug can set considerably back the visibility of some important topics.

However, it should, as all checkboxes are ticked in the "Select forums to be listed on the homepage" part in the Settings tab of my profile.

Hello Attila,

Not all threads will appear on the homepage. There is an FAQ on this, http://www.proz.com/faq/3094#3094 . I do see both threads in the recent forum posts list, http://www.proz.com/forum/categories/recent-recent.html .
