How is it best to divide paragraphs in a single-space 500+ page scientific document?
Should I indent with tab and make a space between each one? Just a space without an indent?
How would you advise I do it?
Thanks!

I always put a space between paragraphs but I think that is North-American custom. In Dutch an indent is usually sufficient, so it depends on which language you are translating into and who your target audience is. I must say that I find a text with spaces between the paragraphs easier to read than a text that goes on and on without a break .

A blank line is a space, isn't it? And that is also the word the original poster used.
