French term or phrase: comprendre
Context:
Translated as:
The raster representation of the autopilot A1 interface on each property, is suitable to include as previously described a level (or a line or a dedicated display field) for the current state, a level (or a line or a dedicated display field) for the representation of the avionic suggestions (alternatives), a level (or a line or a dedicated display field) for the "free" expression of the pilot, one or n possible levels for suggestions coming from other less secured sources for example from the "world outside" the aircraft.

Editing task and not sure how we have include from "comprendre".
Able to interpret perhaps?
Suggestions this Sunday morning would be appreciated.
TIA Chris.

English translation:include
Explanation:
I think you'll find it is in the other sense of 'to include', as we find in uses of 'compris' — it then goes on to list the things that are included...

Ah no, Chris: you just closed it! I'm not sure if Asker themselves can actually delete a question, but you can ask an editor (e.g. me!) to delete it for you if you wish — until someone jumps in and contributes, by which time it's too late!

Thank you.
Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks Tony. I had come to this conclusion after re-reading it and thought I had deleted the question. Obviously not.

Asker: No, I`ve just unclosed it unless my eye sight is really bad.

Explanation:
I reviewed my proposal and found another better solution:

The raster representation of the autopilot interface A1 on each property may comprise … as described above.

In fact, the translation of "comprendre" as such is not really needed here; instead it has to be considered in the context of "propre à comprendre".

Examples:

[0094] With attention now to FIG. 8, a SIS 115 UI 802 is shown. As shown, a SIS UI 802 may comprise, as described herein, an analytical models form (or “dashboard” 802), such as that shown at FIG. 4.

Receiver 110 comprises light source 112, which may comprise, as described above, a laser, such as a continuous-wave or modulated laser, for example.
https://patents.justia.com/patent/10574449

[0241] … Monomer composition 14 is provided and may comprise, as described above: a polycyclic monomer having two or more reactive double bonds, and/or a cyclic monomer having a reactive double bond.
https://patentimages.storage.googleapis.com/0d/10/53/47c3a5e...

[0241] … The PUF-film 150 comprises circuit elements 152.sub.1 to 152.sub.3 arranged so as to form a flat circuit structure 154 which may be incorporated, at least partially, in the PUF-carrier 52 which may comprise, as described in connection with the second aspect, one or more granule materials.

Other appropriate idioms an be phrased, for example with the following expressions:

is suited/suitable to comprise …
features/may feature …

neutral  Daryo: you're right to try to translate the whole of "X ... propre à comprendre Y", but "may comprise" is not quite right.
