Obecnie konsument ma większą liczbę możliwości. Po pierwsze, może od razu zażądać obniżenia ceny albo złożyć oświadczenie o odstąpieniu od umowy. Wyjątkiem jest sytuacja, gdy sprzedawca może niezwłoczne i bez zbędnych niedogodności dla kupującego wymienić wadliwy towar na nowy lub usunąć wadę.
