take away from priver de Explanation: Note that here, the sense of 'take away from' here is really that of 'deprive', so I think 'priver' ought to work (though it is of course only a partial deprivation!) I did wonder if it is possible to use 'usurper' in this way in FR — if it is, then that might have just the right connotation here. |
