Leírás:	Hello. I am NYU-certified for ES > EN. I worked for agencies full-time for about 5 years doing primarily medical translation. Now I do mainly academic work for private clients in Spain -- research papers, books, etc. I have always been interested in legal translation... had one Legal course in my program at NYU and did very well. I would like to get a little better grounded in legal translation so as to feel more confident about marketing myself for it and possibly to receive client referrals. I have been approached about another book translation, but that probably won't start until this summer. Right now I have time to give to a mentorship. Please see extensive samples posted in my profile, including some legal work. I don't have strong feelings either way about payment (I will indicate "no" here on this form)... I think we could come to some creative arrangement about that. Finally, though I'm sure this could be managed quite well in cyberspace, I would love to find a mentor here in the NYC area.
