Lead Editor. Technical translation. Innovative Energy/Electric Energy

DESCRIPTION:
Working as a Lead Editor. This role presupposes editing the translations of three translators and providing feedback to them based on how the translated text is processed in AI-tool that generates media based on the translation.

Duties of Team Lead will be as follows:
- Edit all text by two-three translators in MemoQ (CAT-tool) (regular conventional editing for grammatical, syntactic, stylistic errors, keeping to the glossary etc.);
- Integrate the edited text into AI-tool (easy to use); test run the edited text via synthetic video generation engine; spot the errors made by Artificial Intelligence when reading out the input text;
- Analyse these errors and write instructions for translators to take into account in their next laps of work;
- Discuss these errors and new instructions with translators, preferably in live Google Meet or Zoom meetings, or via correspondence; provide feedback to translators;
- Regular Google Meet Meetings with Blue Carrot managers responsible for the project;
- Working with a Technical consultant (engineer) to discuss whatever technical questions the translators may have regarding the original texts. Serving as a mediator between the Translators and the Technical consultant.
Payment: per hour.

Language: translation from English to Slovak.

Requirements:
- Native speakers only with a master's degree or certifications
- At least 3 years of intensive experience in technical translation
- Expertise in translating/editing the following topics: Innovations in the Energy Sector, Electric Energy, Energy Data Management, the Role of Batteries and Converters, International Regulations in the Sphere of Energy, Zero-emission Energy, Physics, Chemistry, Math)

- Bonus: experience in writing translation instructions for the team and leading the team of translators (you might take the role of Lead Translator), experience in Machine Translation Post Editing
