Do any step by step instructions exist to uninstall and reinstall Trados Studio 2009? I searched here and also the SDL website but can’t find anything.

Hello,
When I reinstalled Studio 2009 I acted as follows.
First of all, you have to return your license. To do this: Start-Programs-Sdl Trados Studio 2009-Return license. Afterwards you have to remove the program from Control Panel-Add/Remove Programs.
Then delete the folders Trados created on your hard drive's D partition.
After having done all these reinstall the application as if you were installing it for the first time.

Thanks for the info. What folders / files though do I need to save in order to transfer to another disk to keep all my former translations?

Hello,
According to my opinion you do not need to save any folders, since after reinstallation Trados will recognize the files used and you will be able to process them.
Good luck.
