This is an easy question I know. the words are not the problem, but for some reson I am not getting what the guys is actually menaing in last part of the final sentence. Sorry for asking a really trivial thing.....TIA

dedicate (my) time to the beauty of life.
I'm not really sure whether he's threatening to talk about the beauty of life Or if that's his way of saying he's calling it a day for today. I'm leaning towards the first (thus agreeing with Norbert) but wouldn]t rule out the second interpretation - sich der Schönheit des Lebens widmen can mean 'enjoy [real] life'.

but today / ... now would like to talk about / ... focus on the beauty of life
As you've mentioneb before, this was probably not written by a native, or if it was, this native is not a very good writer. So I'm somewhat guessing that this is what is meant here.

: I'd say "focus on the beautiful aspects of life", simply because in the beginning he differentiates between the beautiful and the pleasurable

: Norbert: Non-native? How so?

......but I would like to concentrate today on the beaut y of life.
I think the writer is discussing the judgemental difference between that which is pleasing (being a private and therefore subjective experience) and that which is beautiful (an objective experience which can generally be agreed upon). They then move on by saying that although this comparison could be discussd at length, they want to concentrate on the beauty of life.
