not boilerplate legalese,as drafters in Anglo-Am. law are never given a let-off for incompetent drafting. The drafting lawyers, inc. Notaries, will have to resort their own or their Law Soc's etc. prof. indemnity insurance.

Therefor = for the purpose vs. therefore = as a result.

  -> oui - à la limite: je suis d'accord avec vous et votre 'discussion entry'. Or, j'ai précisé de quoi on est 'released' - from liability, plutôt que 'do ratify the drafting of the drafters' vs. discharge, notamment d'une mortgage in E&W.
