report Explanation: Personally I think it would depend on the tone and style of the piece and although obviously "report" is the best fit, I would translate on a case by case basis. For example, "We hereby report the results/findings of..." at the beginning of a sentence could also be translated as "and report these findings" at the end. Also, I think "We hereby report..." would have been commonly used in the past but sounds a little bit too formal and old fashioned now. |
