I think the most appropriate term in Farsi accurately describing the phrasal verb above isنمک به زخم کسی پاشیدن .other answers however good and based on existing definitions in English-Farsi dictionaries but donot show the intended meaning .....

yes exactly I have some answers for my question and or questions,I dont know what wrong with it to share one idea with others so as to come to the best one.Do you think this is in contradiction with Kudoz rules.You dear sir condom the very idea of "contest" and I think this is unwantedly in contradiction with Kudoz itself in which all well-minded come to field to tell their ideas...I dont think myself in possesion of all meanings but in doubt of meanings and this is not an unforgiveable sin I am sure

Question for the asker, from your entries I feel you already know your favorite answer so what exactly is the point of asking it here? Kudoz is for getting help when you don't know the answer, not having a contest between peers
