Spanish term

credulidad (see question)

Spanish to English Other Poetry & Literature
I thought of gullibility and credulity. But I think that there should be a better expression in English to convey the same idea. Many thanks

Mi esposa y yo, que no creemos en aparecidos de1 medio día, nos burlamos de su credulidad. Pero nuestros dos hijos, de nueve y siete años, se pusieron dichosos con la idea de conocer un fantasma de cuerpo presente.

Hola Lakasa - You have lots to chose from :) You have them all:) gullibility - tendency to believe too readily and therefore to be easily deceived
credulousness
naiveness, naivete, naivety - lack of sophistication or worldliness

You are talking about the gullible nature of children, believing in ghosts and apparitions, no?

disagree Milena Bosco (X) : A honest person is not someone who believes or trusts too readily. Have a nice week end.
