I was contacted by an publisher who wants me to translate comics from Japanese into French.
I am very exited about the idea, and I would like to find a list of French onomatopoeias to help me in this work. I have been reading many comics in my life, but some situations leave me clueless, and unfortunately I haven't found anything convincing so far on the internet.

There is a French dictionary of onomatopoeias, but it is a bit expensive and I'd rather wait to see if they keep me after the first book to buy it.
Thank you for your help...

I don't think that any European language can reproduce a plethora of onomatopoeias that exist and are in regular use in Japanese. So I don't think a dictionary will be of that much help.
Maybe try to get some comics that are already translated into French or English and see whether you can get some idea about the translation from them.
