Graduating from the faculty of languages, Ain Shams university has opened for me the two careers I have always been dreaming of; teaching and translation.
I worked as a university instructor since 2010.
I have started my translation career during my undergraduate study years. In the beginning I worked with the UNDP on translating daily press releases related to the UN organization projects in Egypt, then my work extended to translating reports for the organization as well as other NGOs like the World bank. Since then I have decided to take up translation as a freelance job beside teaching.
Among the organizations I have worked with also was a local consultation company AB and Associates translating assessments reports based on Thomas international psychometric test tool, I have also worked on translating powerpoint presentations about the company's products and services.
As for working with individuals, I have worked with graduate students and PhD. candidates on translating research papers and theses.
I have also worked in editing and reviewing different materials, from reports, theses, papers, presentations.
I work with the language pair English-Arabic
