I specialise in Danish-English and Russian-English translation of academic and literary texts, and proof-reading of academic articles. In addition I have translated/edited film- and media-related texts, museum catalogues, and company web pages.

Clients include lecturers/professors in psychology, anthropology, sociology, law, history, East European studies, Middle Eastern studies and medicine at Copenhagen, Aarhus and Aalborg Universities and the University of Southern Denmark, as well as several international journals and institutions. I have published several acclaimed literary translations from modern Russian authors and my own study of contemporary Russian writers (Voices of Russian Literature, OUP, 1999). I was educated at Oxford (Ist Class BA in Russian and Philosophy) and Harvard (MA in Soviet Studies) and have worked as an editor, writer, fund director and journalist as well as translator.
