I am a native Turkish speaker with translating
experience since 1992. I take pride in my work and have been hired for repeat
assignments with numerous clients.
I have an MBA from New York University. I also completed two bachelors degrees in Turkey: one on political
sciences & business administration at Ankara University and one on English
teacher training at Gazi University.
In addition to my translation work, for 30+ years, I
have worked as a researcher as well as a consultant for foreign companies
interested in doing business in Turkey. I’ve completed financial analyses and
feasibility studies and helped them identify potential business partners. These
in-dept research reports I delivered typically include detailed business plans,
organizational charts, roadmaps for planning and implementing new investments,
building a local supply chain with proposed plant and warehouse locations, and
more.
My professional experience falls in three key
categories: I) translation, II) authoring original business publications that
are published in print and online, and III) preparing consultancy / research
reports for exclusive use of the commissioning client.
