Agree. Does SPC stand for specific product characteristics? That is what Duden says. Or perhaps summary of product characteristics?

Could mean that the drug can only be prescribed once unlessthe doctor has examined the patient

I hope I understand this correctly; if it appears on a presrciption for a drug , this is how I understand this. A little more context would be helpful ...:)
