Tárgyalótermi krimiben szerepel. Az ügyvédet le akarják tartóztatni, de kimagyarázza magát, sőt megfenyegeti az felügyelőt, hogy ha letartóztatja, akkor jól beperli az egész FBI-t. Majd azt mondja, hogy de a hab a tortán még az lesz, hogy: If you arrest me, my client will be guaranteed a mistrial. Az eddig talált szavakat nem látom megfelelőnek.

FBI = USA: 'A mistrial occurs when 1) a jury is unable to reach a verdict and there must be a new trial with a new jury; 2) *there is a serious procedural error or misconduct* that would result in an unfair trial, and the judge adjourns the case without a decision on the merits and awards a new trial.'

In the UK, I think this would be categorised rather as a 'miscarriage of justice' (justizmord).
