English term or phrase: Characters in JP
I was wondering whether the translation from EN to JP of the following sentence is correct.

For characters I mean "actors/people" and not "text/words"

Do you like the characters in the ads?
広告の登場人物は好きですか?

Thank you

Explanation:
Do you like the character(s) in the ad(s)?

I have no idea for the character is only one and the ad is only one so I put (s) at the end of the words.
