Any type of technology that has a bearing on marketing operations can be called "martech" whether it is a part of an analysis platform, a device-facing benchmark tool, or any other type of digital or high-tech resource.

Portmanteaus from English are generally kept in their original, untranslated form when translating for a Tagalog-speaking audience. This is because the original gist is kept intact by using the source English instead of forcing a Tagalog translation that might even cause confusion or require further explanation.

Common examples of portmanteaus are "sci-fi" and "fintech"; we do not translate them into Tagalog as "agham kathang-isip" or "teknolohiyang pampinansya", respectively; instead we keep them in English.

  • Actual example sentence for "martech": English: "The top companies in martech are looking to draw benefits from the use of multilingual big data." Tagalog: "Ang mga nangungunang kumpanya sa martech ay nagbabalak na makinabang sa paggamit ng big data na nasa iba't-ibang wika."
