German term
Pflichtvorsorge, Angebotsvorsorge, Wunschvorsorge
German to English
Medical
Human Resources
occupational health
I submit these as one question, because they go together as part of German law governing occupational health.
Welche Arten arbeitsmedizinischer Vorsorge gibt es?
Es gibt drei Arten arbeitsmedizinischer Vorsorge: Pflichtvorsorge, Angebotsvorsorge und
Wunschvorsorge. Während im Anhang der Verordnung zur arbeitsmedizinischen Vorsorge
abschließende Kataloge für Pflicht- und Angebotsvorsorge aufgeführt sind, gibt es für
Wunschvorsorge keine abschließende Auflistung.
The description of what they mean is here: http://www.bmas.de/SharedDocs/Downloads/DE/PDF-Publikationen...
My question is whether there are English terms that are conventionally used.
Thanks!

compulsory, recommended, and elective preventive care
Terminology
This is why the terminology has changed, too. “Occupational health check-up” is now “preventive occupational health care”. Likewise, the terms “compulsory, recommended, and elective preventive care” (in German “Angebots-, Pflicht- und Wunschvorsorge”) are now valid. Fitness vs. prevention The fitness test should
not be combined with preventive health care, if possible. This is likely to increase acceptance.
