compound Explanation: I don't know -- I'd still use "compound" there. BAY 11-5823 is the first compound with the o-alcoxyphenyl remainder, etc. I think "Verbindung" refers there to BAY 11-5823. For binding/bond I see "Bindung", not "Verbindung." And in earlier translations for Bayer, I've been told *always* to use the word "compound" for Verbindung. But I always wonder, too. |
