The basis of valeology is a life phenomenon.
The animate systems differ from inanimate in their capability for selforganization - selfregulation, self restoration, selfrenovation. This is the biological essence of health.
The public health means of health estimation - according to the method of exclusion of a pathological process or on the basis of normology - do not give the possibility to form a full-value process of control.
Due to disability of a public health to give the assistance to all in need acording to modern achievements of medical science level (due to a permanent lack of finances), the West had developed a new scientific discipline: clinicl economics. It is engaged in the problem: which part of medicine is to be invested in order to reach the best effect in the health strengthening of the population.
We hope that the health science in the nearest future gets to the scope of specialists in this field and the XXI century becomes the age of a valeology.

Spelling error

Explanation:
I did the same test translation and asked on this same forum. Everyone told me that it had to be a spelling error. 'Normotonia' is the most likely translation (Normotonie). Confusing, I know.

I don\'t insist the word is a compound of \"normal und Morphologie\", but I am sure the meaning is correct. Following is an example of \"normal morphology\".
