Contexte:

Le contrat était conclu sauf dénonciation par l'une des parties trois mois avant l'échéance. Une clause de revalorization des prix en function de l'inflation retunue pour l'élaboration de la loi de finances française pour l'année occupait un article entier.

agree Nikki Scott-Despaigne : Yes and depending on phrasing, it might be necessary to stipulate that it is to allow for inflation. There are a number of price indexes depending on the context.

agree nweatherdon : If this is a contract, further to Nikki's point, it should specify which measure of inflation, for example, the official CPI inflation rate of the country over the same period of time, or the price inflation of a commodity on a given exchange and currency
