I'm translating some articles of association and in an article talking about the organisation of the voting at general meetings it refers to the Bureau:

Le bureau, constitué du président et des deux scrutateurs, désigne le secrétaire, qui peut être choisi en dehors des actionnaires.

Explanation:
The 'Board' or 'Executive Board' would be the usual translation of 'Bureau' or 'Bureau exécutif' in this context.

You could find this in most bilingual dictionaries.

Thanks to Tony and Daryo for pointing out that this is an ad hoc group, not the Executive Board of the organisation itself. In this case, 'Committee' is probably the best answer!

avoids the potential confusion with the word "committee". Many associations use "committee" where companies use the word "board".

A committee set up just for the duration of a meeting does not seem to exist in the English-speaking world.
