German term

leichte Vollkost

German to English Other Nutrition Food production
This is described as a type of food/dish that is good for those with food intolerances, and is in contrast to 'normale Vollkost'. I have seen it translated as 'light, balanced diet' but this does not match the context. It is for a brochure by a food manufacturer and is used to describe a range of their products aimed at those with intolerances.
Thank you!

Hello Kaya Since the suggestion with the most agrees is, according to your context, not appropriate, we would need the context to find the correct translation. Are the intolerances specified? Are the ingredients, or lack of certain ingredients included in the text? Is the target audience end customers? retailers? Are you looking for a marketing solution or rather a more "dietary" one? "carefree whole foods (diet)" or Helen's suggestion qualified - light whole foods for everyone/for the allergetic.
Context is so very, very useful!

light balanced diet of whole foods

I think you might be looking for a term that shows that the foods one eats are not processed but are whole foods. You might need another phrase to describe that this foods are put togeather for a dietary regime for those with food intolerances.

agree BrigitteHilgner : Without knowing what exactly this is one has to keep the translation vague.

light, normal diet

I don't think what the asker is implying (diet for persons with food intolerances) can conveyed with a single term. One would have to use a phrase with several words in it. My two cents worth

specialty foods suitable for allergies and intolerances/free-from products

Since you seem to be looking for something like a header for a category in a sales brochure, I would suggest this (and the variants below). There seems to be no one or two word term for leichte Vollkost in English, at least not in a header-style context from what I have seen.

Variants could be:
allergen-free foods/allergy-free foods or products
free-from products or foods
special products/foods suitable for food intolerances
free-from, allergy and intolerance (section/products/foods)
etc.
