Depuis quelques années, on voit de plus en plus de fards poudre cuits sur le marché. Un fard cuit est appelé « Baked » en anglais, et on entend plus souvent cette appellation. La grande majorité, pour ne pas dire tous les fards cuits sont des pastilles rondes en forme de dôme. Elle sont disposées sur une plaque de terre cuite/céramique et on cuit les fards poudre au four.
