Explanation:
Als "Abhängigkeiten" bezeichnet man unter Linux-Systemen Software, die zum Installieren anderer Software benötigt wird. So muss man z.B. eine bestimmte Bibliothek zur Grafikverarbeitung installiert haben, um ein bestimmtes Spiel installieren zu können. Vielleicht läuft die hier beschriebene Software unter Linux (bzw. Unix), vielleicht wurde der Begriff auch einfach übernommen.
