Hi everyone,

I am new to the group so hi to you all. This phrase is a the bottom of a University certification confirming a degree.

CERTIFICATO RILASCIATO SU CARTA A DUE COLORI.

Certificate issued...

I am not sure if this carta a due colori has some specific meaning in this type of document context other than two-colour paper.

Any ideas?

Thanks!!

disagree  philgoddard: That's "a due tonalità".

-> Hi Phil. Isn't it in essence the same thing? Besides, I believe official documentation is printed on two-tone paper as opposed to paper with two colours?

agree  Glenda Janssen: Two-tone paper is the common definition of paper in two colors, often blending with each other. Checks are often marked "printed on two-tone paper" so that a copy becomes immediately apparent.
