Norwegian term or phrase: folkevitenskap
A master's programme which apparently ran at the Nordiska Folkovårdhögskola in Gothenburg in early 2000. But I can find nothing on this school or course - and it's a rush job, so fast response appreciated, including any leads.

This would be my suggestion. And alternative would be "Social Medicine." I believe that using the term "folk science" could suggest "anthropology" - which doesn't seem to be what is intended here.
