La abreviatura previa *puls/rot* a *outputshaft* me hace pensar que se trata de una parte del control de velocidad de crucero. Un collar dentado que gira al unísono con el eje propulsor, al desfilar frente a un sensor magnético produce un tren de pulsos cuya frecuencia es proporcional a la velocidad del vehículo.
